I purchased these for my son in October and by Thanksgiving they were falling apart. I made him wear them as long as possible, as the tread on the shoe still was in OK shape, but had to replace them right after Christmas. Very disappointing as I expected a lot more wear w/these $80 shoes than 3 short months.
I love it because this is so much better than what I expected. It really looks good and I feel comfortable when I wear it.
I buy these because of the price, weight 9oz. & bright green color and asics name. As a pair of 5k "racing" shoes on weekends. I train primarily in Asics gel kayano shoes. So after one test jog and one 5k in them. I like the following: They look good. They are very light shoe. Very breathable upper. Nice blue laces. Around the heel and the upper portion shoe is very comfortable. Good padding in tounge. Good countour on the foam inserts. I like the stability of the shoe sole. Trans......
