I picked up these shoes with the intent of speeding up my transition times during triathlons, without the worry of my laces coming untied, or needing to adjust the shoes during long runs. So far the shoes are great. Because my feet normally swell during long runs, I always buy a size larger. I found this to be a mistake with these shoes. Because of the size difference, I am getting blisters on the bottoms of my middle toes from sliding. They would have been perfect in my actual size. To adjust for the size difference, I tried socks, but that is very uncomfortable and actually created some chafing around my ankles. Other than my own mistakes, the shoes are great.
The Zoot Men's Ultra Speed performance was flawless. I was concerned about the fit in terms of too loose or tight, neither was the case. They slide on, felt like air, and gave great support up to 10k. I am a former world class runner and these shoes are of the highest quality......
