Product Review
Always been a brooks fan, currently switching from the Brooks green silence to the pure cadence in November 2012. I ran in a few other shoes as well like the brooks infiniti and new balance 750 before these.
Ive had a chance to run in these shoes for a few months now. Five things are apparent right away: 1. They are well cushioned. 2. This is not a minimal shoe, but more of a cross between a new style light, highly cushioned shoe and supportive old style running shoe. 3. The heel and midfoot are higher than those of the brooks pure connect and pure flow. 4. The pure cadence does not promote forefoot/midfoot striking like the Brooks pure connect or Brooks pure flow does but it is a very good transition shoe for bigger runners who want to get away from the traditional heavier, bulky, heel striking, shock absorbing shoes of the past. 5. The stretch support band in these shoes is annoying to me and just rubs the top of your mid foot the wrong way c......
