I live in Seattle where it rains a lot and the fields are slippery. I field in the covers and use to slip a lot. But not anymore. This has solid iron spikes which keep me very stable and does not hinder my movement. It comes with replacement rubber spikes if youdont like the iron ones. However there are only 8 of these rubber spike......
