I bought this batting helmet because all of the ones at my son's T-Ball games were too big for him. My five year old is definitely on the small side and this batting helmet fits him perfectly. The others were too heavy and slid around on his head but this one stays put and isn't too tight.
The face guard was very easy to install! So glad that I was able to find one on here as they are required for rag ball...
This is a very nice helmet. Please note the size. I did not realize this size is pretty small, it barely fit on my 2 year old's head let alone my 4 year old's.
I was not the only one at the first day of T-ball that had the same realization with this helmet. Lucky that coach had a few extra batting helmets, but I would just double check your kid's head size before ordering.
Otherwise this is a very nice helmet with good padding and venting.
